USA is great!
I really don’t understand why so many people hate America unless it’s because of all the money hungry lawyers that sue for the lamest things. Let’s face it, America is great, and many of America’s trends and media reach to the whole world.
There is no other place as like Hollywood. Hollywood is globally famous, and many different actors around the world stride to get into Hollywood. Also, Our movies are just as great! We see our films debuting in many other countries, yet we see foreign films debuting as second to none in America. Basketball, Rock, Hip Hop, and much more… They all originated in America and it is popular across the world. USA is really great- I am lucky to be able to live in a country with such influence, but I really don’t understand why different parts of the world hates us. Although, our current president didn’t do as great as the previous ones did, you can’t judge us for one ungreat president. There’s always a bad egg in the bunch.
Update: So I decided to ask my friend from Canada about his views, as a Canadian, on USA, and it was quite surprising. He said, USA always brag about being the best country and they really are. Basically, USA is being cocky about being the best. He also told me that University of Toronto has a class related to this topic.

I believe a lot of people hate the US is because of our culture. The US is the first country to implement free speech and free religion (1st amendment, ms?). A lot of other countries are very weary of this idea because of their leaders are afraid that the citizens of their country will want the same ideals. One good example is how most Arab countries hate us, I do not believe it is because we are better in sports or because our nation is more powerful than they are or even because they think we are the world’s policemen. I do think that they hate us because our culture is extremely different than theirs. Our culture is based on Sex and Violence while theirs is based on respect. We have ads showing strip clubs and all sorts of sexual innuendos but the women over there are fully dressed and have very limited respect there. Other countries hate what America is about, but American’s think it is the only way of life.
