Sharing a Special Something

Sharing a Special Something… It is a specific day, time, or moment that you had shared with a friend/family member/lover that you enjoyed so deeply that it had engraved a mark in your life.

It could be a time when you two had a picnic in the park with the nice summer breeze blowing through your hair while your bodies soak up the summer sun, or it could be a time when you two had laid down under the stars on a sandy beach during a warm spring night… It can be anything. It is a time when all of your worries, troubles, and life’s hastles just disappeared.

It is a time when you feel like there is no one else around, except for the two of you, as if you were in another world. It is a time when the only thing you two can hear is the soothing sounds of the relaxed environment and each others’ voices. It is a time when the two of you grow more intimate. It is a time when the only thing you two are thinking about is how great that moment is. It is a time when you two enjoy the beautiful moment. It is the most wonderful thing that two people can experience together.

For the fortunate, you should think about how lucky you are to have experienced a moment like this and to have someone to share it with. Think about how many people would wish to be in your place. Appreciate it, appreciate it, appreciate it… because I am sure your friend/family member/lover does. Think about how hard it is to produce this exciting, beautiful, refreshing, tranquil, and exhilarating moment. It is not easy and it is does not come often! Do not take it for granted, appreciate it.

For those who have yet to experience it, when you do, make sure you remember it! Because I know the other person, that you would share with, will. It is one of the greatest feeling that one can experience, so remember it and enjoy it.

It's always a joy and pleasure for me to read your opinions and comments. I personally read each and every one of them! Now that you know I enjoy hearing your opinions and thoughts, feel free to share it in comments! If you want to remain anonymous, just use an alias when inputting your name.

    hi dougy :) this entry was such an eye opener. actually, scanning through some of your other posts, most of them are. im interested in the process of how you choose what to write about. i like the format tho- none of that “so i was thinking about it today…” nonsense, and straight to the point, as if you just typed out what your brain was thinking at the time. yay for this!

    Well, I just started writing these posts not that long ago, as you can see. And to the question for “how you choose what to write about?” Well, the topic comes from experience, discussions between friends- daily life. :)

    i can sit here and name quite a few great moments in my life, but the freshest i got is today’s day. i spent time with some family even though my dad wouldn’t approve of it because of personal issues. i had such a good laugh today. i played basketball with some family, then went back to the house and dinner was ready for us. i realize even if all the world can be such a disaster, you can set that aside and still enjoy the moment.

    I love those moments in life. And I know exactly how it feels. Nothing else matters at that time just whats happening right then and there. I don’t think I would’ve chosen “scar in your life” as a word. To me it seems like something bad has happened. I get what you’re saying tho. Maybe an imprint in your life or a lasting memory?
    Often when i think of my own moments it puts a smile on my face and it just lifts my mood.

    @BRYAN!!!!!!!
    Yo Bryan! I was thinking of using some other words, but I chose “scar”. However, I changed it because I do feel like scar is more of a negative thing than positive.

    @lamweena
    That sounds very pleasant, I am glad you enjoyed it :)

    those moments are extraordinary .. i’ve had a couple of those moments in the past couple of weeks. they are something that you would never want to forget.

    sometimes they last for a long while that soothes your soul and brings warmth like a fire to your heart, and sometimes they are stolen moments in time that go too soon.

    @queebi
    Yeah! They can last soo long. Sometimes, when I think hard enough and try to relax my mind and think of all the things I experienced… I can grasp like 1/4th of that feeling.
