Like a caller said, “The better speaker will win the debates”. Please do your research before voting. I think Obama is all talk, but we will only find out if Obama gets into office. Obama promised that he would accept public financing, which means he would limit spending to $x and you can’t raise money from any other sources. The purpose of this is so that you would not beholden to any special interest, which means that he would not favor a certain condition that would favor the donor. He later broke the promise which is another point to why I think Obama is all talk.

Now everyone is criticizing McCain for his “childish acts” and calling him desperate, but it seems to me that Democrats are getting desperate and are looking for any point to bash on McCain. Now let me think out loud on how Obama has voted “resent” more than 130 times. Among the “present” vote, there is the option of “aye” which means for it and “nay” which is against it. There is no official interpretation of what the “present” means, but there is a group of people who would like to believe that a senator who votes present means that the senator agrees with the goal, but not the details, on the other side, there is a group of people who would like to believe a senator who votes present means that he is indecisive. What do I think? I think he is indecisive. You can argue that I didn’t consider the votes that he actually made, and my conclusion was unfair and biased, but when you are someone who is suppose to make a decision, a senate, you have to make a decisions. You can’t just say “present”. This is what senators are elected to do. That’s like a manager saying I am not taking sides between a customer and an employee 130 times, and the manager is suppose to be there to resolve problems and disputes.
