A long weekend

Thanksgiving weekend… raises arms and stretches while leans back on the chair while puts legs up on the table. Finally, I can relax! I have all weekend to catch up in some reading for school, to work on some of my projects, and most of all, to catch up in sleep- yawn. One sad thing though, I have to send in my laptop forĀ  repair and we’ll be apart from each other for ~1 week. What will I do?! I pratically grew up on the computer and internet. Anyways, I recently downloaded this lightweight program that keeps track of the things I need to do, a To-Do List Program. I have over ~30 tasks stacked up and I only have 9 completed. The tasks consist of school related things, and my own little projects.

Reading the textbook actually helps

I normally never read the text books for my classes, and I have started doing it and it has helped me gain positve results. One thing I find really hard for myself to do is to stay focused while reading. While reading, I, somehow, always start thinking of some random things and then end up re-reading a paragraph for like 10 minutes. It takes me a long time to read one chapter.

Has anyone noticed how anime always has some kind of sex appeal? From my observations, I think it’s safe to say that sex sells. It really rakes in some money. Kind of funny how society takes advantage of the sex driven people.

The Bus Silence

Today, as I was riding the bus towards down town, the first thing I noticed was the bus was cramped, like always. Next thing that I noticed was the noise level of the bus. In regards to the noise level, opposite to a bus full of high schoolers, the bus was as quiet as a library on beautiful sunny day. Quite interesting to me, to see that it’s completely quiet in a bus full of people. Everyone was occupied with their own personal tasks. Some people were reading magazines, some were reading a news paper, some were reading a book, some were listening to their iPods, and many were on their smart phones. Also, does anyone else notice how the word “iPod” replaced the word “Mp3″? iPod is a name given to the mp3 device made by apple, and everyone (if not, then the majority of the people, at the least) refers to any mp3 device as an iPod. To make things easier for me, I just go along with it and call the mp3 an iPod.

No! It didn’t pass!

I wanted proposition 1A to pass so bad! We (America, or San Francisco at the least) have not built something great in so long, and our structures are so outdated. No bullet train :( . Also, expect our meats to change significantly, since prop 2 passed. Now animals have to be housed in a bigger cage. For ex, a pig was is like 5ft? So, a minimum space to accomodate the pig would be around 5-6ft by 5-6ft, which is equivalent to like 4 spaces for pigs in our current system. darn….

update:
I spoke way to soon! 1A did pass! YES!!!

My first time voting!

Election day is coming! It will be my first time voting, and I am damn excited! There hasn’t been much technology advancement in America for a long time, which is why I am voting Yes on proposition H, whoops, I mean’t 1A. I definitely want to see a bullet train and I want to America continue to advance. If it doesn’t, I guess I can just move to Japan. MAN! COME ON AMERICA! We are suppose to be the leaders, and we are still using some old and crappy systems! For example, look at our muni! We are still inserting some stupid muni pass while Hong Kong uses the octopus and just hovers the card over the sensor, even if it’s in the purse.

I just wanted to add more to this post
Well, for class, I have to write a report about our career, and I never really knew what my field was known as. I want to engage in programming for web applications, and design templates right? Well, I was going to do computer science, but cs is more of a local thing like stuff you install on your computer, which isn’t really what I want to do. Anyways, I did some research and I found out that my field is called Web Development in some colleges. So in 10 years, I see myself probably working for some random job like a bartender and making the real money through the internet with the skills I’ll learn from Web Development. I hope it goes well. :D I want to work as a waiter, janitor, cashier, and much more! Basically, I want to experience the everyday working person’s life. I don’t care about the low pay because I will make the money else where- All I want is the experience of it.
