frappuccino japanese book!
An all new exclusive frappuccino japanese book! It’s pages are decorated with spots of mocha frappuccino that does not intrude your reading, but gives a mellow softness that can improve your speed of reading. The design was created by me, and my inspiration came from… a laugh. If you are interested in purchasing the book or if you want me to decorate something of your’s, then just drop me an e-mail.
The story behind the design
This could potentially be the most embarrassing moment of my life, but I was sitting in class… surrounded by friends- Joe sat to my left, Carroll sat to my right, Kyle sat behind me, and Sabrina sat diagonal to me. Anyways, I was sitting in class, and I was drinking my Mocha Frappuccino. While savoring the flavor of the drink, and enjoying the smooth texture of the creamy milky mocha frappuccino. I heard a comment from Kyle, a comment that I couldn’t resist from laughing. When I started to laugh, I choked on my frappuccino and “motor boated” all of the drink onto my book, my desk, and all over myself. As embarrassing as it was, it allowed me to create a new design- just kidding. Really, as embarrassing as it sounds, it really wasn’t because my friends were there. It just did not really matter if I embarrassed myself in front of them, because they are my friends. So I just sat there for the rest of the class and stared at my book while crying my eyes out because everybody was looking at me- SYKE! I ran to the the bathroom and cleaned myself up, and brought back some towels to clean up the mess that I made. The end. What a great story right?

going gold baby!
The other day, I was browsing LifeHacker, and I stumpled on to an interesting article. The article was a DIY (Do it yourself) project that showed how the writer repaired his faulty earphone jack. Coincidently, the headphone jack to my headset was starting to rip off, so it was a perfect time to change it. I don’t have any pictures of the process, since my assistant, Kyle, didn’t take any, but you can see the tutorial here: How-To: Repairing Faulty Headphones by Chris Metcalf.
The jack that Chris used was so damn sexy that I bought the exact one from Radio Shack. You can see the microphone jack which is an example of how the jack’s appearance before the repair.

About 3 weeks ago, I re-installed my games and started playing a lot more. So basically, I started to procrastinate in everything and i started to sleep real late. Well, since I have essays due next week and I would like to be able to break free from my bad cycles, I uninstalled my games, again. Also, I found myself easily getting distracted by facebook. I would login, then look at notifications, respond to them, and while responding to them, someone else’s profile would catch my eye, then I start looking at their profile, and then someone else’s profile catches my eye, and the cycle continues. How did I handle this? I deactivated my facebook account for now. Although each and everyone of my friends would have 1 less friend count, it does not mean my profile is deleted, I would say that it’s more of a pause type of thing and then you can resume it later. Well, hopefully this goes well for me.

I just wanted to update my blog, but I don’t know what to write about. YEAH there’s a lot going on, but it’s super top secret. Um… it’s been hot the last few days, and joe, kyle, and I played tennis. We biked to the courts and then back and uh… met up carroll later on. I am going to carve a pumpkin with my brother today. We picked Kakashi’s face from naruto as our design, so I told him to draw it on the pumpkin with a marker and I’ll carve it. Well, I’ll do the details to make it work, but I’ll give him some other parts to do. I’ll post up a picture of the finished product.I am thinking of going ‘trick or treat’ing with my brother , since I know siblings think it’s “cool” to hang out with their older siblings. I mean, who WOULDN’T want to hang out with me? I am like made out of pure awesome. just kidding!

I love to play tennis, it is so fun. I am going to try to play more
. Believe or not, but I developed the love for tennis through an anime called “Prince of Tennis”. After that, I decided to actually give the spot a try and now I try to play with my friend when I can.
What’s new? I recently joined this membership program that coaches me for ppc and affiliate marketing stuff. So far, I am learning a lot and I can’t wait until I start implementing the techniques that I have learned. However, my limited knowledge in PHP is holding me back, so I have to wait for people to answer my questions if I can’t find the answer. yuppp!
The other day, my parents brought home sushi for me, and there was UNI
, delicious-mmmm. ok, I can’t think of anything else to write.
Like she said…
Like a caller said, “The better speaker will win the debates”. Please do your research before voting. I think Obama is all talk, but we will only find out if Obama gets into office. Obama promised that he would accept public financing, which means he would limit spending to $x and you can’t raise money from any other sources. The purpose of this is so that you would not beholden to any special interest, which means that he would not favor a certain condition that would favor the donor. He later broke the promise which is another point to why I think Obama is all talk.
Now everyone is criticizing McCain for his “childish acts” and calling him desperate, but it seems to me that Democrats are getting desperate and are looking for any point to bash on McCain. Now let me think out loud on how Obama has voted “resent” more than 130 times. Among the “present” vote, there is the option of “aye” which means for it and “nay” which is against it. There is no official interpretation of what the “present” means, but there is a group of people who would like to believe that a senator who votes present means that the senator agrees with the goal, but not the details, on the other side, there is a group of people who would like to believe a senator who votes present means that he is indecisive. What do I think? I think he is indecisive. You can argue that I didn’t consider the votes that he actually made, and my conclusion was unfair and biased, but when you are someone who is suppose to make a decision, a senate, you have to make a decisions. You can’t just say “present”. This is what senators are elected to do. That’s like a manager saying I am not taking sides between a customer and an employee 130 times, and the manager is suppose to be there to resolve problems and disputes.
1 commentWhy Obama?
I really don’t understand why is everyone leaning towards Obama. I think he is just all talk. I mean, I love the things he say, and the reforms he wants to implement, but he doesn’t have the record to back it up. He also doesn’t have the same experience that McCain has. Reforms require money to implement, and since we are in a recession, I am really not sure how is he going to fund so much promises. How is he even going to raise the money to cover for the deficit and fund all those reforms he speaks of at the sametime? Can he really do it? He also wants to add a health care system, and that’s a NO for me, because I would like to have freedom to choose my own health care.
I think I brought this up in another post, but I’ve spoken with a few friends from Canada and Ukraine, and they want Obama to win. I really don’t understand why, since McCain is the more experienced one with greater foreign relations. Also, I am quite amazed how people outside of the USA are so involved and updated with our politics. It’s not surprising that stock marketers or some state official is updated, but what surprise me is foreign students like me are very aware of our politics. They’re students, and busy and have much things to attend to and it’s not even their own country, but yet they are very aware of what is going on. Getting back on track, I still don’t understand why Obama is the choice here. He talks the talk, but he doesn’t walk the walk. He has no past record. During state legislations where one is suppose to vote yes or no, Obama votes “present”, which means he did not vote in any position. What the hell is that? It seems like he doesn’t even care, like o whatever.
After watching this show called Frontline on PBS, it seems as if Barack Obama is a very sneaky kind of guy. He consistantly moves up in the political world, and it seems very obvious that he is tyring to get the position of president. It’s like he calculated every move to get to where he is. One example of why I think Obama seems to be very sneaky, I don’t remember her name, but this Chicago senator asked Obama to run for her seat, because she was going to run for a position in court. So she lost in the election for court and with the support of elder senators, they politely asked Obama to withdraw from running. Obama said no to that proposal, and ran against her. However, Obama went ahead and challenged her signatures and then she was dropped from the election. After that, he decided to challenge all other candidates, which ultimately led Obama to win by default since there were no running mates. I feel that it’s fine to say no to them asking Obama to stop running, but did he really have to challenge her and everyone else? I mean, this is the lady who suggested him to run and basically offered the opportunity to him. I think it’s just a matter of mutual respect. I guess you can say, politics are dirty.

omg, I FORGOT MY PASSWORD!
I’ve been wanting to blog here and there, and I couldn’t login! I forgot my password, and I haven’t took the time to reset it either. ANYWAYS! I would just like to write about whatever is on my mind. I am ALWAYS getting sidetracked and I have such a hard time concentrating on my studies. I would study, then do something, then go back to study. I spent like 4 hours trying to read 3 chapters for one of my classes! SHOOOOT!
Let’s see… currently I am trying to develop a few hobbies. I like to work with websites, like to learn to make money online, like to put together gundam model kits, and like to play tennis. I practically NEVER played a sport in my life, unless you consider hapkido as a sport, but YEAH! I haven’t been playing any tennis at all, since I had to attend some family issues that limits my time to play- darn.
whatelse… I won some stuff on the internet, and I am selling those stuff at the moment. I recently lost my wallet- fail, but I bought a new tumi wallet
. I found $40 at Golden Gate Park, so I guess I can say that I broke even since the wallet I dropped had ~$40 in it. Um… oh! Someone told me that I don’t pay attention to the present much, and I was like… yeah, you’re right. I noticed that my mind is always off somewhere thinking about things. Like, most of the time, I am thinking of my website. For example, a few weeks back, I had to launch a new layout, and I couldn’t bare to shut down my website for a few days while I update it, so I had to plan out the stages to transition over to the new design. First, I would think of how I should do it, and think of as many ways as I can, then eliminate all methods that wouldn’t work. Next, I would often go over the procedure a few times in my head, and try to think of all possible errors that I might come across and then think of possible solutions for those. Normally, during this process, I would write it down, so that I can look back on it later and revise the plan, if needed. I read somewhere that you should spend more time planning out your projects, so that you can glide through the process faster, and I found that this is very true, at least for me. I’ll say I spent like 2-3 weeks planning out the transition procedure from old design to new design, and I spent like one day upgrading everything. Last thing, I TRY not to waste my time thinking about it in class, unless i am bored or trying to stay awake, but i use most of my traveling time (bus, walking, etc…) thinking about it.
2nd check! yessss!
I got my 2nd check from azoogle- yes!!! I am going to put it in the bank and reinvest. RAWR!
No commentsDon’t vote, it’s useless
I bet the title got your attention huh? Well, I am thinking of voting this time, and I hope that you will too. Please take your time to review each candidate. Don’t buy into propaganda! It’s fine to ask friends, but always do your own additional research. Don’t just go with the flow, and who’s everyone voting for. Our country is like trillions of dollars in deficet, and it will affect us and generations to come. I know a lot of people would want to go the democrat way, because of our recent republican president. I am not trying to defend the republicans, but I think that’s not a good way to choose your vote. Anyways, take a look at this video:
