than then- dammit!
I always get than and then mixed up. I understand it how it works now, but I still have this habit of interchanging them. GOD! feel free to correct me when you see me do it, so i can try to break out of the habit.
Also, my home server is up! now I can back up all my family’s computer, and store my media stuff.
So this dude apologized to me
A week ago or so, this guy apologized to me. He apologized for trying to get with my ex-gf and that he still wants to be friends. As the saying goes, “it’s better late then never.” BUT! in this case… It’s like kind of too late to resume our, once good, friendship; It just won’t be the same. I mean we can totally talk and stuff, but we drifted apart and we have other friends now. It’s nice to know that he is sorry, but SERIOUSLY- it took him TWO (or one?) YEAR TO SAY IT? Whatever.. an apology is an apology. It just seems to me that it wasn’t a very important relationship, since he tried to get with my ex and didn’t apologize right away. Conclusion: The timing of the apology is a critical factor. Depending on situations, it would most likely determine the outcome of a relationship. HOWEVER, for example, this apology would be voided and pointless (in my mind) if he were to holler at my girl friend again. It’s just stupid how someone apologizes and then continue to do it. It’s like, just don’t bother apologizing- you’re wasting both of our time.
No commentsAzoogle!
I recently got my first check from Azoogle for ~$200! Yay! What did I do with the $200? I spent half of it on clothes, and I am going to use the rest to re-invest.
Movies I am looking forward to
I like how they are bringing back all the old movies and remaking it. Unlike most movies, the batman movie remade (The Dark Knight) is so good!
I am so excited to see dragon ball the movie, but judging from the screenshots seen here (http://www.dragonballmovieblog.net/), I am disappointed. First of all, WHY DID THEY HAVE TO USE A WHITE GUY FOR GOKU?! His clothes look so shitty…… Man, I can’t stress how disappointed I am already..
Next movie i am looking forward to is mortal combat. unfortunately tehre isn’t much info on this yet, but it sounds good.
No commentsThis is why I stopped using ChaCha
Like many others, this is why I stopped using ChaCha. ChaCha was great at one time. A time when it was a fixed .20cent per question. However, ever since they implemented their new system, where people who don’t answer as much questions receives .10cent tier and people who answer more questions receive .20cents, it has forced many to suffer.
ChaCha is like a highway. Let’s say a mayor decided to implement an express lane to a 3 lane highway. The express highway can only be used by the people who paid to use it. So the mayor has two choices.
Choice A
The mayor can use one of the three lanes and make it the express lane. This would cause everyone, other than the people who pay to use to express lane, to suffer the two lane traffic. Picking this choice would ultimately lead to people protesting the removal of the lane OR it everyone will start using the express lane, which is highly unlikely.
Choice B
The mayor can build another lane, which would make it a total of 4 lanes. I can’t say this wouldn’t lead to any problems, but I can say the consequences are not heavily weighted. Choosing choice b would allow people to have two choices: 1) They can continue their daily lives and wait in the 3-lane traffic or 2) They can just pay the toll and use the express lane.
So how does this relate to ChaCha? Our original payment was .20cents per question and now ChaCha has implemented a system where people, who don’t have the time to always sign on ChaCha, have to suffer the consequences of .10cents a question. In one of ChaCha’s e-mail, they made it sound as if the people who answered more questions were getting a reward, but in reality, they were only getting .20cents which was the original wage. How does this promote motivation? It doesn’t, it just sucks and if anything, it decreases the working spirit. My suggestion for ChaCha would be to change it back to .20cents per question and set that as the lowest tier and open up and new bracket for people who work more and pay them .25cents a question. You see? That is how you promote motivation.
