Tibet as it’s own country? uh… NO

As a lot of you people know, people (in america), and many other places as well, were using the olympics to protest the tibet issue. SERIOUSLY FOLKS, IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS and CHINA should feel free to keep tibet if they want. Amazing how some Americans can not care about the U.S. Economy/War/Gas Prices and have so much time to protest about Tibet being it’s own country. I, for one, feel that Tibet SHOULD NOT be it’s own country. It’s ridiculous! It’s like… California is breaking off U.S. and being it’s own country.

I don’t get enough sleep

I sleep so late at night, like maybe 1 or 2am. I always wake up the next morning really tired, i cant’ break out of the habit. I always get side tracked at night and start working on something. I do believe that the key to doing well in school is to get a good night rest. ANYWAYS, I am going to try my best to sleep earlier now.

USA is great!

I really don’t understand why so many people hate America unless it’s because of all the money hungry lawyers that sue for the lamest things. Let’s face it, America is great, and many of America’s trends and media reach to the whole world.

There is no other place as like Hollywood. Hollywood is globally famous, and many different actors around the world stride to get into Hollywood. Also, Our movies are just as great! We see our films debuting in many other countries, yet we see foreign films debuting as second to none in America. Basketball, Rock, Hip Hop, and much more… They all originated in America and it is popular across the world.  USA is really great- I am lucky to be able to live in  a country with such influence, but I really don’t understand why different parts of the world hates us. Although, our current president didn’t do as great as the previous ones did, you can’t judge us for one ungreat president. There’s always a bad egg in the bunch.
Update: So I decided to ask my friend from Canada about his views, as a Canadian, on USA, and it was quite surprising. He said, USA always brag about being the best country and they really are. Basically, USA is being cocky about being the best. He also told me that University of Toronto has a class related to this topic.

Pull out of Iraq? uh… no

Another quick write, please excuse any grammar / misspellings.

So why do people want to pull out of war anyways? Seriously, it’s too late. For those who are saying “They shoul pull of Iraq”, do you even know what’s going on there? I have asked this question to so many people and many of them answered no. When people hear the word “war”, they think of two sides shooting each other with guns. That’s not the case here. The reason  why are troops are dying is because of the terrorist guerilla tactics. The very reason why we are there is to build a government. You can’t just build it halfway and then leave. Do you realize how much chaos can happen after we leave? Let’s say that we did pull out of Iraq, if they start killing each other then are you going to start protesting “Save Iraq from genocide”? Do you realize they can start fighting each other for power? I read from an article for class that there isn’t even an ARMED police force there. How do you expect things to kept in order?

It’s official, I hold grudges

I am not perfect, and I don’t think anyone is perfect either. I hold grudges! The grudges I hold are against people who screw me over in life in these three categories: academically, financially, and/or emotionally. So how do I deal with these grudges? I would normally, never talk to them again. The only people I would forgive are family and friends who are willing to go out of their way to apologize or give a sincere apology (I would be able to tell). It’s really stupid how people can apologize and then continue to dig an ever deeper hole. If they don’t say sorry, then they weren’t a good friend to begin with. However, I will eventually talk to them in the future (it can be as little as days and as much as years), depending on how severe they screwed me over.

fixing day

I did a lot of fixing yesterday :) . First, my dad and I had a few things to do at my aunt’s house. We had to replace some PVC pipes for the sprinkler system, we laid out some pepples and bark ground cover, and we moved a stove into the house.

Skip forward

George and wesley came over, because George’s computer wasn’t working or something. We spent the WHOLE day trying to figure out how to fix it, but we were not able to. :( That greatest part about yesterday was when… we had NACHOS :) . Homemade nachos, with a lot of guacamole :D mmm so goood. RAWR!

Oh, and michelle is awesome.

Work, Eat, and Sleep

I haven’t been very active for the past day. Just stayed home and worked on some website stuff, and watched some TV. Oh, have you heard of Jumper Ants? These ants are pretty deadly, one would have to go to the hospital for proper treatment after a bite from these killers. and and, did you know they make shark repellent with dead shark? Well, they do. Supposedly, some fishermens would drag dead sharks behind their boat to fend off sharks, and when .. uh.. what’s his name… found out- he created the shark repelent in the size of a bottle.

August 2nd:
On Saturday, Carroll picked up Andrew and I, so that I can help him fix his computer. He couldn’t resist downloading those special “videos”, so his computer caught a crap load of viruses. Oh, I forgot to mention that Stephanie, whom andrew and I just met, was there as well. On the way to his house, we stopped by Irving where andrew and i had Irving Pizza. I remember when I first ate at Irving Pizza, their slices were pretty big for the price, but the size had shrunk over time, however it seems the slices has returned to it’s original size. Back to my story- I, myself, had a slice of combo pizza while Andrew had a slice of pesto pizza and I think a cheese pizza. When Andrew finished breaking the world record for slowest eater :D (just kidding andrew), we went to Quickly’s and got each of ourselves a tapioca drink. We met up with Stephanie and Carroll and off we went.

Carroll had caught a nasty spyware, I had to go through a few procedures inorder to remove it. For those of you who don’t know, “Spyware is computer software that is installed surreptitiously on a personal computer to intercept or take partial control over the user’s interaction with the computer, without the user’s informed consent.” -wikipedia. To keep your computer free of these malicious content, it’s good to install an anti-virus, and an anti-spyware software. There are free alternatives, which I highly recommend: AVG Anti Virus and Spybot Search and Destroy. AGAIN, back to the story. Carroll had 46 infected files, tsk tsk tsk. I removed everything using AVG Anti-Virus, but there were still stuff leftover that I had manually remove. For situations like these, it’s best to ask a friend for help or google for help. Hours later, I finished and we all just chilled and watched TV.

Around 11PM, Carroll drove Stephanie home and then drove Andrew and I home. On our way home, we made a pit stop at Jack in the box. Stephanie got 3? tacos while I got a Jumbo Jack and 2 Tacos. The tacos are not bad, but they aren’t anywhere near REAL mexican food.  RAWR!!!

Check out the awesome deposit that I made ^_^V (lol joe.)

A day with my mother

Didn’t blog yesterday! Yesterday, I didn’t sleep until 5AM and I got only 1 hour of sleep. My mother and I woke up and left the house at 6:30AM to take the Cal Train to Stanford. During the ride, I busted out my chinese chess set and owned my mom in chess.

Standford is a really nice place. It’s quiet and mellow, yet there are many people around. OH! You know what I noticed about Stanford? The people, including females (duh), they are MUCH taller, or “sideways taller”, or combination of both. I would consider my height (6FT 1IN) as average over there. I think it’s probably because of their diet and the enviroment over there, or might just be the fact that there are more white people there (white people are bigger), but every asian/indian/other race I saw there were just as big. Anyways, me and my mom went to “the center”, where she needed to visit a physician and do her thang. I won’t go in to much detail, but I basically waited for her and used my computer on their free wifi. I was planning to work on my website, but they disallow certain data types, which includes FTP, Bit Torrent, and some other stuff. To kill the time, I just read some blogs, forums, posted some ebay auctions, posted some craigslist items- you get the idea.

Here are some pictures of one of the many waiting rooms. I didn’t bring my camera, so I used my cell phone camera instead. Excuse my crappy photoshop skills- the following photo is my attempt to combine two seperate photos into one.

When she was finally done, we headed over to the cafe and we both had a ROAST BEEF PANINI- finally, FOOD! YES!!!! What’s a panini? ARE YOU SERIOUS!? COME ON MAN! A PA – NI – NI. “It is a sandwich made from a small loaf of bread. The loaf is often cut horizontally and filled with salami, ham, meat, cheese or other food, and sometimes served hot. A grilled panino is buttered on the outside and grilled in a press.” I had to pull that off wikipedia JUST FOR YOU!! Unfortunately, I ate my sandwhich faster than I can take a picture of it, so there is no picture of it. :(

At last, I arrive in my homeland- San Francisco.  Since I was not able to open an account online for BofA, I had to go to a branch to do it. Opening a bank account at the branch is much more beneficial. One of biggest reasons why is that my personal banker gave me a temporary debit card, so I don’t have to wait for mine in the mail. YES!!! :D

Because I enrolled in the Keep the Change program, which happened to have almost 100% markup for the 1st 3 months, I went to eat sushi with my mother. 3pm-6pm, $1 per sushi. You know what that means? I WILL ORDER A HUGE AMOUNT FOR MYSELF!

Syke! I am not a fatass, I shared that with my mom. At home, I fell asleep for the rest of the night, and woke up at 12AM and ended up staying up until 5AM and woke up at 1PM.

Today… I stayed home and worked on some super top secret stuff and played Gunbound with my friends.
