7 day blast!

I haven’t been blogging, since I have been enjoying my SUMMER!! CHYEAH! So, here’s a little about my day today, and then my past week.

Nothing GREAT happened today, but I try to keep myself busy. I went to work for my mom in down town then came home and took a nap.

WAIT!! I just realized, I had PURPLE CAULIFLOWER! My mom made SPAGHETTI with CHICKEN and ALFREDO SAUCE- yum! Unlike the cauliflower, the noodles were purple because it was boiled with purple cabbage.

Isn’t that amazing? PURPLE cauliflower. What’s next? a star orange?

Also, if you have time- please look at this video that shoebee made.

June 23rd:
After picking up a report with my mother, I went to Jtown to hang out with my shoebies- Chinda and Andrew. My gosh, you would not believe how much a little person can eat. Like seriously, don’t judge how much one can eat by their size. On the way there, I heard they were eating GELATO- wtf! they are eating without me?!?! When I finally arrived, I caught them looking at food, specifically candy fatasses. we walked around, and went window shopping. I bought a sasuke keychain for my younger brother, ZOMG NARUTO.

We went to some food market where i stocked up on some snacks- YES!! I have to keep a stash under my bed. Because Ms. Shoebie wanted more food, we went to ANOTHER market, SHEESH!

Went home, I took a nap and when I woke up… guess what was on? THE FOOD NETWORK CHANNEL :D So uh, I learned how to prepare a crown of lamb- I don’t need to prepare a crown of lamb, but it’s a nice asset to have for future reference.

So here’s a crown of lamb- I learned how to demeat the bones and I learned how to cook it and keep it in that crown shape.

June 24th
I feel lazy-
andrew, shoebee, and I hung out until it was time for shoebee to go to work.
andrew and I went to meet up phillp to work out.
went to mcdonalds- I ordered TWO MCCHICKENS!! they are SO GOOD! That’s not even the good part! My friend hooked me up with 10 PIECE CHICKEN NUGGETS and LARGE FRIES! FOOD FOOD FOOOD FOOOOOD :D BUT! since i am not a fat ass, I shared it with my friends.

then andrew and I bussed home.

June 25th

Andrew, carroll, wesley and I went to kyles house today. We all brought our laptops and had a GUNBOUND LAN PARTY. That’s not the important part though, let me tell you about the food I had. Kyle’s mom made us some PAN FRIED CHICKEN with a light sauce with brocolli and rice. MAN! IT WAS SO GOOD!! I LOVED IT. Ch ch ch ch CHICKENN!!! Thanks Kyle and Kyle’s mom.

EDIT on July 30, 2008:
We actually ate CHICKEN ALFREDO PASTA with MUSHROOMS! Thanks andrew for the fix, and we ate the CHICKEN with RICE on July 19th. Yes, I HAVE to make sure this is correct. After all, IT’S FOOD!
For the sake of my fingers, here is a summary of the rest of the night: carroll left around 5am, wesley left at 10am or so, and andrew and I left at 12pm. We all went home and got ready for our big biking journey.

June 26th
So we were suppose to bike today, but SOMEBODY wasn’t able to get HIS bike, which caused us to not go! :D Since we didn’t bike- andrew came over to my house and we just chilled. A little bit later, wesley came over to pick up the grill for his picnic thing.

Later that night…

Andrew and I decided to just bike around the neighborhood, but instead we went to wesley’s house to recruit him in to our bike gang. Since his 5th grader bike had no air, andrew rode to kyle’s house and came back with kyle and the air pump. WE PUMPED UP THOSE TIRES! SHOOOOT! Next, we went to carroll’s house (Not CAROL, CAR – ROLL) and recruited him- finally our bike gang was complete. Soon after, we abandoned our bikes and went to keizha’s house and stayed there until 3am then went back to carroll’s place to pick up our bikes and biked home. the end.

June 27th
Lynna came back today!!

DAMMIT!

just kidding. As planned, we played Tennis at lawton rec. MAN! Keizha sucks at tennis! Carroll, andrew and I dominated her and kyle- WEAK!!! After everyone got tired of tennis, we started playing war ball with the tennis balls and a foot ball. A FOOT BALL! WTF RIGHT? When we got tired of that, we flew over to keizha’s house (kyle and I biked there- so awesome). Chilled there a bit and decided to watch IMAX Batman that night- YES!! FINALLY! I went home to eat first and had another THREE SLICES of PIZZA from Costco! (I ate 3 slices for lunch) mmmmmmmm. The onions, the bell peppers, the sausage…. so goood :D

The plan was for everyone to meet at downtown. We arrived at Metreon only to find disappointment. STUPID FANDANGO! Their website had some glitch and sold us tickets for non-imax batman. WTF! Just so you don’t think we are SHOEBEES or something- there were other people at the guest services with the same problem. That’s the last time I use fandango. Since our night was ruined, Lynna took us in by allowing us to chilll at her house :)
We pratically pulled an all nighter (AGAIN!)- THANK FULLY! Keizha was nice enough to drive us home :) but since kyle didn’t bring his bike home yet (damn noob) from keizha’s house. He took me home and than rode back to his house- thanks small douglas.

June 28th
I spent my most of my day coding a website. The website is an website for the Gundam. I am almost finished, and maybe you can check out my work when I am done!  Near the completion of my project, I got this call. It was a shoebee calling me. She asked me out to eat desert. She ALWAYS calls me out to eat, but never calls me out to do anything else LOL!! Anyways, I got ready and hopped on my bike. I biked to Kyle’s house and stayed there until everyone was ready. Andrew came a bit later with his HAWIAN FOOD that he didn’t share :( I had to watch him eat that barbeque rib eye, that rice, that macraronie… I am hungry. At the desert place, I got a Lychee Sago- mmmm :D and some FRIES!. I loved the fries, it had some garlic powder on it and it was nice and crispy with a soft warm potato filling- *droolss*

Well, we finished up desert and I went home with wesley and kyle. wesley jogged most of the way, while kyle and I biked circles around home.

My epic bike not so epic!

I am sad to say that… There are no food highlights today, but today, I did eat FRIED RICE! I went to the gym with a few good friends of mine and that’s about it. Oh! I also went to bike with a friend.

I went bike riding with my janky bike with my good friend, joe. Before taking off, I asked him about our biking route. He gives me a long list and I only heard Golden Gate Park. The first impression that came to my mind was, GOLDEN GATE PARK? EASY! That is like, all flat. I underestimated golden gate park. Those roads look so easy, but trust me- they aren’t. My legs were dying- I felt the BURN! In the end, I am glad I made it. Even though I didn’t do as good, there’s always room for improvement.

chinda shoebie

Seriously though, my bike was doing bad- it had trouble changing gears. Maybe this is why it was free… :( Anyways, the grips were quite comfortable. Well, when comparing with the previous grips, any grip would have out done it. So our route was down to ocean beach and ride through great highway. Oh man! the sun, the ocean, the beach, and the girls were all very great there. We continued on and into Golden Gate Park. Inside,  we passed by the lake, passed by the buffaloes, passed by the museums, and passed by the Conservatory of Flowers. IT WAS GREAT! Soon, we hit Lincoln way and rode towards Forest Hill Station. THIS WAS THE HARDEST part for me, we had to stop a few times just for me- Thanks joe :) . As soon as we made it back, I laid down on the concrete floor – relief.

So I took my time to prepare a map for you and WOW! the route was 10.6 MILES!! Well, the first half of the route was easy- ALL DOWN HILL! :D . The whole ride for us took about an hour.

Omg! Yesterday, my friend told me how he almost got robbed. He said, he heard his doorbell ring 5 times, but he ignored it because he thought it was one of those advertisement people. Next thing you know, he saw someone trying to climb in his kitchen window. They burglars ran off as soon as they hear my friend yell. He called the cops and the cops came and took him with them to identify the suspect, but my friend wasn’t able to see his face- he only saw his arm. I should really add some cameras around my house on top of my current security system. This is so I can get a picture of a face if something like this were to happen to me.

How to play .MTS files on the computer?

Today, I was trying to figure out which media player can play .mts files, since VLC couldn’t handle it :( . I found this program called Oxygen AVCHD Player. It’s a really nice player- it’s small, it’s optimized, and it has a nice interface. There’s a lot of video estate, meaning the player isn’t cluttered with all these features that takes up all the space for the video. The interface (play, rewind, forward, etc…) only shows up when the mouse moves. Try it! You can download here: clickyy

edit: you can now use the latest Windows Media Player to play MTS and also VLC Media Player.

My Epic Bike

For the people who don’t know, I got a free bike with some rusty parts with an awesome duct tape grip. LAUGH NO FURTHER! My bike’s duct tape grip is officially replaced. Today I went to the bike shop with my dad and brother to get a new set of hand grips. The transformation of the bike began as soon as we got home. I pulled out my handy dandy razor and cut a off the old grip, and put some soap in the new one, so I can slide it in easier. I rode it around the block, so that I can position the grip properly for comfort. After that, we fixed up the rear brake, oiled the bearings, and polished the frame. Oh yeah, what a sexy bike!

It’s funny how my brother always runs to his desk and pretends to work when my mom comes home. I start laughing and try to put my brother on the spot. I ask him questions like, “Why are you pretending to work?” and when he starts to watch TV, I would say things like “Look! mom’s right there!” and he starts working again and slowly turns his head to check. LOL!

ENOUGH ABOUT THAT, let’s talk about food. Guess what I had for dinner? Porkchops with ONIONS and a side of thinly sliced potatoes with cheese and ONIONS. Did you know you have to cook pork thoroughly? like no redness whatsoever. Why? because they have internal parasites that can harm our bodies. This only applies to pork and chicken, but not beef, lamb, and… I can’t think of any other meat right now. If you overcook it, it gets kind of hard to cut/eat, so you have to cook it just right so you get a nice juicy slab of meat. Oh, a good tip when buying beef/pork is to look for marble. If you can’t find any marble meat, just take out a fork and start poking the meat everywhere- this tenderizes the meat :D . ONIONS, I love onions- I can’t stress that enough. They’re crispy and have that small kick to it that makes it awesome. My dad cooks greatt! :D

How to make your camera take pictures faster?

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL CAMERAS! but it does for mine. I have a Sony DSC-N2 andd I was kind of annoyed how it takes picture so slow. If you lower your ISO then the camera will take pictures faster at the cost of lower quality (Didn’t notice any quality difference on my camera).

This is how you lower ISO specifically for my camera (Sony DSC-N2).
Put it in camera mode
Press the button to review more options (the one with a little hand pointing)
You will notice a camera icon button in the top left corner, press it
Set the mode to program, then click back
Now press menu, and VWALLAH! you will see ISO and I am pretty sure you can take it from here.

A typical Sunday

Lately, I have been sleeping pretty late and I have been waking up to the phone call from my father at around 12pm. The first thing I do when I wake up is check my e-mail, check my money tree, and check a few forums to find expected replies. My family brought some food home for me, again. As usual, I sit back, relax, and enjoy tv while eating.

My afternoon was pretty boring- I watched Jumper and took a nap. Jumper was pretty cool- I wish I could teleport like that. It would save me so much time!  I wouldn’t have to wake up two hours before class started. TWO HOURS! one hour to get ready (I like to take my time and eat before I leave) and one hour to get to school. I had like a, what?, 3 hour nap and my family, again, brought home food for me. After my nap, I started trying to work on restoring my database for my website- took much longer then it should have.  I took a shower- oh my god a shower?!? I like to bring my laptop in while I shower so I can listen to some MUZIKKKk. What? you don’t do that? After that, I just pretty much continued to do some web work and finished off the night with BANANA SPLIT ICE CREAM!! while watching One Piece. You ever get that cold feeling in your teeth when you put like a big spoon of ice cream in your mouth? Because I did :)

doobix.elyk.i

So today, my dad woke me up after he, my brother, and my step mom came home from lunch. They bought me BURGER KING! Yes, the King of bugers! I usually eat while watching TV, so i did. I watched Food Network’s Next Star and happily ate my chicken nuggets and cheeseburger.

I biked to elyk’s house and found out teal was making BROWNIES!! :D and CUPCAKES TOO! with her friend Angela. As soon as doobix arrived, we started playing gunbound while teal and angela were watching little mermaid. Did you know Ariel’s father was Poseidion? He has so much powers and he gets punked on by some dumb witch- pathetic. The 2nd movie for Ariel was even worst! He could of used his staff to zap the witch but he decided to send his MEN, WHO ARE POWERLESS, and shoot the sky- retarded. This is why the second movie went straight to VHS/DVD.

So later on, me and elyk rode our bikes to Senoire’s while doobix walked. It’s really fun riding circles around doobix. elyk bought us a small PIZZA!!! to eat at my house. For some reason, doobix has a hard time eating food that was paid for by someone other than himself- what the hell? it’s free for god sakes. I ended up showing doobix this feature (Fireworks mode) that I discovered on my camera and gave it a test run.
